Kathy
What I bring to coaching is joy, a love of
life and great love for all beings. It is important to me
to create an environment that is safe and open. The work done
during coaching is not always easy or comfortable –
the things that are most important to us often are attached
to our greatest fears. So having a place that is safe and
spacious is important. I also bring clarity, insight and intuition
to our meetings.
I am a PCC (Professional Certified Coach through the International Coaches Federation) with 30 years experience as a Registered Dietitian
and manager. My meditation practice allows me to create a
spacious container for clients. My extensive leadership experience
enables me to understand more quickly the intricate dynamics
of relationships, whether they are with people, food or our
habits. |

During
my own career transition, I spent several years knowing that
something else was calling to me but not knowing what it was.
I found hundreds of reasons why the work I was doing was just
right for me. But the voice persisted. Eventually I resigned
my management position as a way to create space in my life
for what was waiting to be born. The answer turned out to
be Life Coaching. This is work that calls me to step into
the unknown every day, to dance with whatever arises, and
to trust my intuition and instinct. It also allows me to connect
deeply with people and to listen carefully, and to discover
how magnificent each being truly is. I also love nutrition;
it is a vibrant field and our understanding of how the human
body works gets better every day. We have to eat, so why not
eat well? Life coaching and nutrition turn out to be a wonderful
combination. |

| I live in
Healdsburg, which is part of the Sonoma County wine country in Northern California.
I love to cook, garden, hike and spend time with my husband
and cats. I have enjoyed the luxury of travel - my favorite
trips have been treks in the Andes and the Himalayas. I also
especially enjoyed the beautiful temples in Turkey and the way
that their religion was integrated into their daily life. |
